Historic Environment Scotland has given preliminary indication that we can cut and remove fallen trees from Eowyn on Elanvow under the prior Scheduled Monument Consent. We hope to do this after the work is finished on Inveruglas Isle.
NOTE: Campers seem to have started using electric chainsaws or other to cut firewood on the island! This is disturbing and illegal. Fires are not permitted on the island and there certainly should be no unauthorized cutting of the trees.
