New 3D Island "Clear Cut"
To aid in the survey mapping, we took the 3D model and removed the trees ...to focus on whatever ground and shoreline there was visible. We kept the tops of the two tallest trees for reference. Download the OBJ zip file here. |

Recent work on tower modeling is presented via Sketchfab. Internet Explorer occasionally has problems with this, but it seems to work well with Chrome.

In addition, big thanks to David Connolly for spending some of his free time creating a web version of the Ellan Vhow Cellar, available here on the Sketchfab website.
Sketchfab does not require a software download and the 3D model should work in the event that our models above do not - though you should check this one out anyways, it's quite nice!

Inveruglas Castle 3D Exterior model
From June 2012 photos
Not Eilean a Vow, but for interested Macfarlanes, here is a rough exterior model of Inveruglas castle. Hopefully we can refine this and provide context from the island based on our planned quadcopter flyover.
